Isaiah 42:8 I am Jehovah, that is My name; And
My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images.
Isaiah 48:11 For My own sake, for My own sake,
I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory
to another.
Note: God will return to reward His servants.
Psalm 24:9-10 Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory
shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of
glory.
Revelation 22:12-13 “And behold, I am coming
quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the
Last.”
Note: Jesus Christ will return reward His
servants.
Matthew 16:27 “For the Son of Man will come in
the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according
to his works.”
Note: Jesus Christ will return in His glory.
Matthew 25:31 “When the Son of Man comes in His
glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His
glory.”
Note: The glory of God glorifies Jesus Christ.
John 11:4 When Jesus heard that, He said, “This
sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may
be glorified through it.”
Note: The glory of God is of the Father and the
Son.
John 17:5 “And now, O Father, glorify Me
together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world
was.”
Note: Jesus Christ is glorified in heaven.
Revelation 5:11-12 Then I looked, and I heard
the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the
elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and
thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was
slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory
and blessing!”
Note: Everyone worships the Father and Son.
Revelation 5:13 And every creature which is in
heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all
that are in them, I heard saying: “Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to
Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!”
Note: Christians will glorify God through Jesus
Christ.
1 Peter 4:11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as
the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability
which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through
Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
