Denouncing the Son of God in the Qur'an
And yet some people assert, "God has taken unto Himself a son!"
Limitless is He in His glory! Nay, but His is all that is in the
heavens and on earth; all things devoutly obey His will. - 2:116
Note: Muslims are liars who have denied God.
Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is
antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son
does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the
Father also. 1 John 2:22-23.
O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in
your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth.
The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment
of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by
Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is]
a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but
One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto
Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and
none is as worthy of trust as God. - 4:171
Note: Muslims are not witnesses for the Father and Son or God.
“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father,
the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of
Me.” John 15:26.
Indeed, the truth deny they who say, "Behold, God is the Christ, son of
Mary" - seeing that the Christ [himself] said, "O children of Israel!
Worship God [alone], who is my Sustainer as well as your Sustainer."
Behold, whoever ascribes divinity to any being beside God, unto him
will God deny paradise, and his goal shall be the fire: and such
evildoers will have none to succour them! - 5:72
Note: Jesus Christ identified Himself as God and religious fanatics hated Him.
Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was,
I AM.” Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself
and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so
passed by. John 8:58-59.
Note: Religious people who have rejected Jesus Christ will believe in murder.
The Christ, son of Mary, was but an apostle: all [other] apostles had
passed away before him; and his mother was one who never deviated from
the truth; and they both ate food [like other mortals]. Behold how
clear We make these messages unto them: and then behold how perverted
are their minds! - 5:75
Note: Muslim are without the truth and eternal life.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes
to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have
known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
John 14:6-7.
Lo! God will say: "O Jesus, son of Mary! Remember the blessings which I
bestowed upon thee and thy mother-how I strengthened thee with holy
inspiration, so that thou couldst speak unto men in thy cradle, and as
a grown man; and how I imparted unto thee revelation and wisdom,
including the Torah and the Gospel; and how by My leave thou didst
create out of clay, as it were, the shape of [thy followers'] destiny,
and then didst breathe into it, so that it might become, by My leave,
[their] destiny; and how thou didst heal the blind and the leper by My
leave, and how thou didst raise the dead by My leave; and how I
prevented the children of Israel from harming thee when thou camest
unto them with all evidence of the truth, and [when] those of them who
were bent on denying the truth were saying, `This is clearly nothing
but deception!"' - 5:110
Note: Revelation of God is centered upon Jesus Christ.
For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government
will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful,
Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah
9:6-7.
AND LO! God said: O Jesus, son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men,
`Worship me and my mother as deities beside God'?" [Jesus] answered:
"Limitless art Thou in Thy glory! It would not have been possible for
me to say what I had no right to [say]! Had I said this, Thou wouldst
indeed have known it! Thou knowest all that is within myself, whereas I
know not what is in Thy Self. Verily, it is Thou alone who fully
knowest all the things that are beyond the reach of a created being's
perception. - 5:116
Note: Despite emptying Himself (Philippians chapter 2), Jesus knows all things.
After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that
the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!” John 19:28.
AND THE JEWS say, "Ezra is God's son," while the Christians say, "The
Christ is God's son." Such are the sayings which they utter with their
mouths, following in spirit assertions made in earlier times by people
who denied the truth! [They deserve the imprecation:] "May God destroy
them!" How perverted are their minds! - 9:30
Note: God blessed Solomon with wisdom beyond any damned Muslim.
Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind
in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has
established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is
His Son’s name, if you know? Every word of God is pure; He is a shield
to those who put their trust in Him. Proverbs 30:4-5.
They have taken their rabbis and their monks-as well as the Christ, son
of Mary-for their lords beside God, although they had been bidden to
worship none but the One God, save whom there is no deity: the One who
is utterly remote, in His limitless glory, from anything to which they
may ascribe a share in His divinity! - 9:31
Note: Muslims will experience the wrath of Jesus Christ.
Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His
wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their
trust in Him. Psalm 2:12.
[And yet] they assert, "God has taken unto Himself a son!" Limitless is
He in His glory! Self-sufficient is He: unto Him belongs all that is in
the heavens and all that is on earth! No evidence whatever have you for
this [assertion]! Would you ascribe unto God something which you cannot
know? - 10:68
Note: The universe has been given to the Son by the Father.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given
to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all
the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have
commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the
age.” Amen. Matthew 28:18-20.
Say: "Invoke God, or invoke the Most Gracious: by whichever name you
invoke Him, [He is always the One-for] His are all the attributes of
perfection. And [pray unto Him; yet] be not too loud in thy prayer nor
speak it in too low a voice, but follow a way in-between; and say: "All
praise is due to God, who begets no offspring, and has no partner in
His dominion, and has no weakness, and therefore no need of any aid"
-and [thus] extol His limitless greatness. - 17:110-111.
Note: The Son of God will destroy Muslim peoples in the future.
“I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, ‘You are My Son,
today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations
for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.
You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces
like a potter’s vessel.’” Psalm 2:7-9.
Furthermore, [this divine writ is meant] to warn all those who assert, "God has taken unto Himself a son." - 18:4
Note: Muslims will experience the wrath of God.
The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. He
who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not
believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on
him.” John 3:35-36.
It is not conceivable that God should have taken unto Himself a son:
limitless is He in His glory! When He wills a thing to be, He but says
unto it "Be" -and it is! - 19:35
Note: The glory of the Father and the Son is the glory of God.
I am the Lord, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to carved images. Isaiah 42:8.
“For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His
angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.” Matthew
16:27
Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous,
whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the
earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! That men
should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, although it is inconceivable
that the Most Gracious should take unto Himself a son! 19:89-92
Note: Jesus Christ will return after the wrath of God has been poured out.
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be
darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall
from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the
sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes
of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the
clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” Matthew 24:29-30.
Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been
any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each
deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it
had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one
another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men
may devise by way of definition, - 23:91
Note: Muslims do not know the Creator of the universe or God.
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our
likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the
birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over
every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in
His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He
created them. Genesis 1:26-27.
He to whom the dominion over the heavens and the earth belongs, and who
begets no offspring, and has no partner in His dominion: for it is He
who creates every thing and determines its nature in accordance with
[His own] design. - 25:2
Note: Muslims do not know the Creator of the universe or God.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word
was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through
Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. John 1:1-3.
Had God willed to take Unto Himself a son, He could have chosen anyone
that He wanted out of whatever He has created - [but] limitless is He
in His glory! He is the One God, the One who holds absolute sway over
all that exists! - 39:4
Note: Muslims like Jews have rejected the Father and the Son or God.
Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only
broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making
Himself equal with God. John 5:18.
Note: Religious people who have rejected Jesus Christ will believe in murder.
[As for Jesus,] he was nothing but [a human being -] a servant [of
Ours] whom We had graced [with prophethood], and whom We made an
example for the children of Israel. - 43:59
Note: Muslims are not honoring God since they dishonor Jesus Christ.
“For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the
Son, that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He
who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.”
John 5:22-23.
Say [O Prophet]: “If the Most Gracious [truly] had a son, I would be the first to worship him!” - 43:81
Note: Under judgment Mo-ham-mad will worship Jesus Christ.
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which
is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the
earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11.
Qur’an Note 1051: We are here told that the Christian doctrine that
Jesus Christ was the son of God was borrowed from earlier pagan people.
Recent research has established the fact beyond all doubt. In fact,
when St. Paul saw that the Jews would on no account accept Jesus Christ
as a messenger of God, he introduced the pagan doctrine of sonship of
God into the Christian religion, so that it might become more
acceptable to the pagans.
Note: Muslims will perish in their numerous sins and will not have everlasting life.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16.
