Page 3: God's servants of old were not born with love and affection for God. They had to develop it. How? By getting to know him by his personal name, Jehovah.
Clarification: Now one needs to love Jesus Christ to be loved by the Father.
He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him. John 14:21.
Page 3: Nevertheless, Jehovah invites you to become 'a guest in his tent,' his friend.
Clarification: Jesus Christ wants you to be with Him in heaven.
Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 14:1-3.
Page 4-5: Was Jehovah offended because Cain offered the "fruits of the ground" instead of an animal sacrifice? Not necessarily.
Correction: The ground was under a special curse of God until after the flood.
And the LORD said in His heart, "I will never again curse the ground for man's sake, although the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done. Genesis 8:21.
Correction: God required a blood sacrifice for sin.
And according to the law almost all things are purged with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. Hebrews 9:22.
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7.
Page 5: There is no better way to show our love for Jehovah than by submitting ourselves to his authority. This means obedience to the Bible's moral code.
Correction: The Father wants people to put their reliance in Jesus Christ.
And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment. 1 John 3:23.
Page 6: Through the sacrificial death of His Son, Jesus Christ, Jehovah has provided the legal grounds for each of us to choose for himself life or death, obedience or rebellion. (John 3:16) It is as if Jehovah granted us our own day in court - an opportunity to go back to Eden, as it were, and make our own decision.
Clarification: A person needs Jesus Christ as his mediator when in "court."
And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. Hebrews 9:27.
For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. 1 Tim. 2:5.
Page 6: Imagine the pain that Jehovah endured as he saw his firstborn being insulted, tortured, and impaled like a criminal. And God endured that for us.
Correction: It was with joy that Father saw His plan of reconciliation accomplished by the Son.
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand. Isaiah 53:10.
Page 7: Loving Jehovah involves our devotion, worship, and an unconditional dedication to him.
Clarification: Loving the Father involves loving the Son.
He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me. John 14:24.
Page 10: Like an eagle that constantly searches for invisible thermals, we "keep on asking" for Jehovah's invisible active force by means of our fervent prayers. - Luke 11:9, 13.
Correction: One cannot have the Holy Spirit apart from Jesus Christ.
But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. John 15:26.
Page 11: "The way out" or "a way to escape" (King James Version) involves learning to trust in Jehovah.
Clarification: One needs to put their trust in Jesus Christ.
Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him. Psalm 2:12.
Page 11: This is what Max Liebster, whose comments were quoted at the beginning of this article, discovered. During his years in the concentration camps, he came to know and to rely on Jehovah. As Max discovered, Jehovah strengthens us through his Word, his spirit, and his organization.
Correction: We are strengthened through Jesus Christ.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13.
Page 11: Whatever trial we face, we can likewise count on God's holy spirit, provided we keep asking for it. (Matthew 7:7-11) Vitalized by this "power beyond what is normal," we will soar rather than get bogged down by our problems.
Correction: One will become a witness of Jesus Christ.
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Acts 1:8.
Page 12: Blessings will be enjoyed by those of sinful mankind who obey God and avail themselves of the merit of Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. (Acts 4:12)
Clarification: Obeying is believing!
And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. Hebrews 3:18-19.
Page 15: Yet, everyone who 'listens to Jehovah's voice and carefully does all that he requires' will be blessed now and to all eternity.
Clarification: One needs to sincerely believe in Jesus Christ.

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. John 6:47.
Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:36.
