ARE YOU SAVED?
1) Have you looked to God for salvation?
Isaiah 45:22 "Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other."
Matthew 11:28 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
2) You cannot save yourself from your sins.
Isaiah
64:5-6 You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, who remembers
You in Your ways. You are indeed angry, for we have sinned; In these
ways we continue; And we need to be saved. But we are all like an
unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all
fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Ephesians
2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of
yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should
boast.
3) Jesus Christ is the door to salvation and eternal life.
John 10:9 "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture."
Acts
4:12 "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name
under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
4) Are you abiding in Jesus Christ for salvation?
Matthew 10:22 "And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved."
John
15:6 "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is
withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they
are burned."
5) Have you placed your sincere belief in Jesus Christ for salvation?
John
3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting
life."
Acts 16:31 So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."
6) Do you believe that the death of Jesus Christ has saved you?
Romans
5:9-10 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall
be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were
reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been
reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
1
Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those
who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of
God.
7) Have you sincerely confessed Jesus Christ as your personal Savior?
Romans
10:8-10 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and
in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if
you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart
that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the
heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is
made unto salvation.
1
Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life,
to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in
the presence of many witnesses.
