CONCORDANT LITERAL NEW TESTAMENT

eon: The longest segment of time known in the Scriptures.

Hebrews 9:12 (CPC) not even through the blood of he-goats and calves, but through His own blood, entered once for all time into the holy places, finding eonian redemption.

Correction: We do not have redemption from sins for a period of time.

Hebrews 9:12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal (aionios) redemption.

1 Peter 5:10 (CPC) Now the God of all grace, Who calls you into His eonian glory in Christ, while briefly suffering, He will be adjusting, establishing, firming, founding you.

Correction: God's glory is not for a period of time.

1 Peter 5:10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal (aionios) glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

Hebrews 9:14 (CPC) how much rather shall the blood of Christ, Who, through the eonian spirit offers Himself flawless to God, be cleansing your conscience from dead works to be offering divine service to the living and true God?

Correction: The Holy Spirit is not for a period of time.

Hebrews 9:14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal (aionios) Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Hebrews 7: 28 (CPC) For the law is appointing men chief priests who have infirmity, yet the word sworn in the oath which is after the law, appoints the Son, perfected, for the eon.

Correction: Jesus Christ is not perfect for just a period of time.

Hebrews 7:28 For the law appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son who has been perfected (aion) forever.

Hebrews 13:8 (CPC) Jesus Christ, yesterday and today, is the Same One for the eons also.

1 Timothy 1:17 (CPC) Now to the King of the eons, the incorruptible, invisible, only, and wise God, be honor and glory for the eons of the eons! Amen!

Correction: The Concordant NT mistranslates a singular Greek word as a plural in English.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and (aion) forever.

1 Timothy 1:17 Now to the King (aion) eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

Romans 16:26 (CPC) yet manifested now and through prophetic scriptures, according to the injunction of the eonian God being made known to all nations for faith-obedience

Correction: God is not for just a period of time.

Romans 16:26 but now has been made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures has been made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting (aionios) God, for obedience to the faith;

Note: In their effort to downgrade the eternal (aion) or everlasting (aionios) judgment of God, the Concordant NT has also downgraded eternal life, the Holy Spirit, the Son, and the Father.
