MANIFESTATIONS OF SATAN
1) The establishment of Islam
One night in 610 AD during the month of Ramadan, Mohammed heard a
tinkling of bells. A disembodied voice cried out in majestic tones.
"Recite!" it commanded. Mohammed felt as if he were being gripped by
great unseen hands and then released. He was terror-struck.
Obediently, Mohammed awaited further visitations. Time and again over
many months the angel reappeared. The angel Gabriel said Mohammed was
"a messenger to instruct mankind" and on each visit delivered new
insight and teachings. (The March of Islam, Time-Life Books, page
33.)
2) The establishment of the Inca Empire
The Incas did not begin to fulfill their true destiny until the
emergence of their ninth ruler, Pachacuti. Inti (Satan) appeared to
Pachacuti with snakes coiling around his arms. Upon seeing this
image, Pachacuti became so terrified that he started to flee. The sun
god (Inti) reassured him: "Come here, my child, have no fear, for I
am your father the sun. I know that you will subjugate many nations
and take great care to honor me and remember me in your sacrifices."
Inti then revealed to Pachacuti by means of a magic crystal images of
all the regions he would conquer. Spanish chronicles tell how he
would invite his adversaries "in the name of the Sun to acknowledge
his authority, upon which they would be treated with honor and loaded
with presents." Not surprisingly, the promise of peace and gifts,
backed by the threat of slaughter, often had the desired effect which
was capitulation without struggle. (Incas: Lords of Gold and Glory,
Time-Life Books, pages 52-54.)
3) The establishment of the Mormon Church
Brigham Young, second President of the Latter Day Saints church,
claimed in 1885, that it was an angel that appeared to Joseph Smith.
"He did send His angel to this same obscure person, Joseph Smith
junior, who afterwards became a prophet, Seer, and Revelator, and
informed him that he should not join any of the religious sects of
the day, for they were all wrong." (Journal of Discourses, Volume 2,
page 171.) John Taylor, the third President of the Latter Day Saints
church, agreed with Brigham that it was an angel that did appear.
(Journal of Discourses, Volume 20, page 167.)
Warnings from the Bible!
But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his
craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that
is in Christ. (2 Corinthians 11:3)
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming
themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan
himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore
it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into
ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)
But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel
to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we
have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other
gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
(Galations 1:8-9)
Conclusion: Put your trust in Jesus Christ alone for eternal
life!
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting
life. (John 3:16)
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
(Galatians 3:26)
