Shareholder Sues CEO Over Alleged Gifts To Church

TOWSON, Md. -- Black & Decker released a statement Tuesday, denying allegations of a shareholder's lawsuit.
The lawsuit brought by William Redmond, of Glen Arm, claims CEO Nolan
Archibald made gifts of company funds to the Mormon temple in
Washington, D.C., in violation of company policy.
The Towson-based company called the claim false, saying it has never given money to the Mormon Church or the Mormon temple.
