2 Nephi - Chapter 12 Critique

 

Setting: Nephi supposedly began his second record in the Americas during 588 BCE about the time of the destruction of Jerusalem and continued to 545 BCE. This would have covered the time of the prophets Ezekiel and Daniel who were prophesying in Babylon during the captivity.

 

Verse 1: THE word that Isaiah, the son of Amoz, saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem:

Isaiah 2:1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

 

Verse 2: And it shall come to pass in the last days, when the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it.
